DREAM SCENARIO

today will be different
today I let go of everything
today I hold on to everything
today I know
which way to go

so I walk into today
see this bench near the riverside
inviting me to sit down
cherished by the sun
becalmed
while everything around me moves

wind blows the leaves
traffic goes by
boats float
a flower airs fragrance
passengers pass by

I am
alternately
open for encounter
closed
in order to process

that’s how I like it
present, for sure
and yet also
somewhat on the outside

and today there is
harmony in balance
between
thinking
and acting
outwards
and within

my dream scenario:

a bench
a breeze
a bit of
encounter
a bunch of
reflections

achievable
understanding
